My research interests include:

Teaching:

Stereoscopic Imaging: digital imaging, visual perception, film craft, and topics in stereoscopy. Students build 3D imaging systems used to create mini-features.

Student Projects:

If you'd like to do a student project contact me via email. I'm open to new ideas.

Background:

Physics, Chemsitry, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering. I've worked on topics from computer architecture to optical computing (OPIE), from Graphics VLSI Hardware (Image Prism) to flat panel displays (ePaper). I've designed and built telepresence systems (Looking Glass) and augmented VR systems (RBench). Recently I developed a stereoscopic teaching system for Surgery and Anatomy to medical students (3DTV).
